Books I've Read Since We Got Here - Mom

  • The Entire Southern Vampire Series - Charlaine Harris (ummm.. I did it cause I love TRUE BLOOD - and even though I read the whole series this is one of the few occasions where I'll say the show is better. much.)
  • The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
  • The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman
  • Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami
  • Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
  • The Lollipop Shoes - Joanne Harris (don't bother)
  • The Witch of Portobello - Paulo Coelho (if you've read one...)
  • Footprints in the Sand - Sarah Challis (not fulfilling in any sense, read it out of obligation)
  • The Wasp Factory - Ian Banks
  • Gravity's Rainbow - Thomas Pynchon
  • Whit - Ian Banks
  • Hogfather - Terry Pratchett
  • A Confederacy of Dunces - John Kennedy Toole (really and truly I don't understand the hype)
  • Tales of Ordinary Madness - Charles Bukowski

  • Moving Pictures - Terry Pratchett
  • Noon - Journal of the Short Poem 04
  • The Death of Bunny Munroe - Nick Cave (if you've read it you may laugh if I tell you I know a Bunny Monroe. alternatively, you may run in horror and choose never to associate with me again.)
  • The Luminous Life of Lilly Aphrodite - Beatrice Colin

  • The Wind-up Bird Chronicle - Haruki Murakami
  • Lowboy - John Wray
  • King, Queen, Knave - Vladimir Nabokov

  • Diamond as Big as the Ritz & other stories - F Scott Fitzgerald
  • Scoop - Evelyn Waugh
  • The Good Soldier Svjek (EXCELLENT)
  • Informers - Bret Easton Ellis (not stellar in any sense. not a shocking BEE book either... I think maybe they turned this in to a rather mundane movie?)
